Unpacking Ableism
Acknowledging the spectrum of disability for both disabled and abled-bodied audiences, this workshop addresses ableism, accessibility and accommodations. Check out criproject.com for more details.
When it comes to anti-oppressive frameworks, there are comprehensive resources on how to be race and gender inclusive. However, while many understand that ableism is wrong, we might struggle with how to identify and unpack it. This workshop addresses ableism within an intersectional framework, defines accessibility and accommodations, and helps participants engage meaningfully with anti-ableist discourse.
Unpacking Accessibility
This workshop is a facilitated group discussion that engages with the real world impacts and lived experiences of the concepts covered in Unpacking Ableism. The goal of this workshop is to have participants think critically about ableism and access at all levels of your organization to reimagine more inclusive environments.
Cross Disability Team Building
How do we communicate with each other as members of disability communities? How do we work with each other across intersectional spectrums? Learning collectively, this workshop is team-based and perfect for incubating a variety of community and art projects.
Mental Health Workshops
Disability & Mental Health
Medical trauma from interactions with the medical system can lead to internalized ableism complicating relationships with family, friends and communities. In this workshop we find community in addressing isolation and issues of self-esteem and worth.
LGBTQ+ & Mental Health
Addressing access to support systems and related coping strategies, this workshop offers a harm reduction lens to building new relational and personal health practices.
Sex Education Workshops
Sex & Disability
With higher rates of sexual violence and isolation, this workshop explores adaptive sex and communication with a focus on the right for those with disability to live lives that are bias-free, including healthcare.

Artmaking & Storytelling Workshops
Artmaking & Social Justice
There is power in collective artmaking and crafting. In this workshop we navigate large social complexities and our personal anxieties through art. Working on developing new creative muscles as well as our existing skills.
Disability Storytelling
Reviewing different models of disability, disabled storytellers explore linguistic frameworks and models of diagnosis to create authentic, engaging narratives.
